Three scores. One clear call for today.
Your Apple Watch records the signals. Pulse Coach compares them with your own normal, not a population chart, and tells you whether to push, train easy, recover or rest.
Recovery
How ready your body is today. Built from overnight HRV (50%), resting heart rate (30%) and sleep (20%), each measured against your 60-day baseline.
Recovery score →0–10Exertion
How much cardiovascular load you have taken on, from time in each heart-rate zone, with a target range matched to today's recovery.
Exertion score →14 nightsSleep & sleep debt
Duration, deep and REM share, efficiency and consistency, plus a rolling 14-night sleep debt and a bedtime target for tonight.
Sleep features →Ask your data a question. Get an answer that stays on your phone.
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Pulse Coach runs Apple's on-device language model over your own scores, sleep and journal. Ask "What's my biggest recovery lever?" or "Should I train hard today?" and get a short, specific answer.
- Generated on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server, so there's no data to leak.
- A daily briefing: headline, one action, and the reason behind it.
- Never gives a diagnosis, and points you to a doctor when something looks off.
- Other iPhones get the built-in rule-based coach with the same scores.

Find out what actually moves your recovery.
Tag your day in a few taps: alcohol, late meal, caffeine, stress, sauna, cold exposure, meditation, travel and more. Once a tag appears on at least three days, Pulse Coach shows how your next-morning recovery changes on those days.
It isn't a generic tip like "drink less". It's your own number, measured on your own nights.

Guided routines
Breathwork, mobility, stretching, deep rest (NSDR) and bodyweight HIIT circuits, with an interval timer, voice cues and a Live Activity.
Trends & weekly report
7-, 30- and 90-day charts for recovery, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep and exertion, plus a weekly summary of what changed.
Transparent scoring
We publish exactly how each score is calculated: the inputs, the weights, the baseline window. No black box.
Your health data is none of our business.
Most health apps upload your data to their servers to calculate scores or run AI. Pulse Coach was built the other way around.

Frequently asked questions
What is Pulse Coach?
Pulse Coach is an iPhone and Apple Watch app that turns the health data your Apple Watch already records into three daily scores: recovery (0–100), exertion (0–10) and sleep, plus a training call for the day. An on-device AI coach explains what the numbers mean. Everything runs on your iPhone.
Do I need a WHOOP, Oura ring or other extra hardware?
No. Pulse Coach uses the Apple Watch you already own. It reads heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, sleep and workouts from Apple Health, so there is no strap, ring or membership to buy.
Is Pulse Coach free?
Yes. Daily recovery, exertion and sleep scores, the journal, your strongest habit impact, 7- and 30-day trends, routines, the Apple Watch app and widgets are free. Pulse Pro ($4.99/month or $29.99/year) adds the full daily briefing, ask-anything coach chat, every habit impact, 90-day trends and the weekly report. Anything free today stays free.
Does my health data leave my iPhone?
No. Pulse Coach has no account, no servers, no analytics and no tracking. Scores and AI answers are calculated on your device. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".
Which devices does Pulse Coach support?
iPhone with iOS 26.6 or later and Apple Watch with watchOS 26.6 or later. The AI coach uses Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later with Apple Intelligence turned on). Other iPhones get the built-in rule-based coach with the same scores.
How long until my recovery score is accurate?
Pulse Coach compares each night with your own rolling baseline. Scores become personal after about 7 nights of wearing your Apple Watch to sleep, and keep improving as your 60-day baseline fills in.
Is Pulse Coach a medical device?
No. Pulse Coach is a wellness app. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If a reading worries you or you feel unwell, talk to a doctor.
Which languages does Pulse Coach support?
English, Arabic, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.
